Once again, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all runners who, through their efforts, ran 121 km together at the 12th AOK Company Run in Waiblingen. For every kilometer run, € 10, i.e. € 1,210, was donated to the SOS Children's Village Württemberg in Schorndorf-Oberbergen. Currently, 80 boys and girls live in the SOS Children's Village in 10 SOS Children's Village families, 3 SOS residential groups and one SOS youth residential community. In these safe places they can grow up secure and protected. The joy about our donation on site was very big. With our donation, we support various projects of the SOS Children's Village, among others, for the new building of the kindergarten, which burned down in the summer of 2021. Furthermore, additional offers for art therapy and leisure pedagogy can be made with it. Our donation will also be used for renovations to provide a feel-good environment and a place of security.
We hope to be at the start again next year with many runners for the good cause.
