Roofing ceremony in Waiblingen

On the 20th of October 2017, Eisele held a roofing ceremony for a new automated small parts warehouse, as well as additional office and production areas, at the new location on Lise-Meitner-Straße in Waiblingen’s industrial estate. Guests and employees were invited to visit the structurally complete building, where they celebrated the start of a new chapter in Eisele’s future with food, drinks and live music.

With the expansion of the location we are setting the course for further internationalization and responding to the digitalization of the logistics chain. The core of the new building – the small parts warehouse with four aisles – provides space for 17,280 containers, and can be expanded later for up to 26,780 containers, as needed. The automated small parts warehouse ensures the fast, worldwide distribution of our connection components in response to the tremendous cost pressure in the highly competitive supply industry. Completion of the warehouse is planned for May 2018. Afterwards, the entire company will relocate from Ameisenbühl to the new location on Lise-Meitner-Straße.
