The sterilisable, minimum dead zone stainless steel 1.4301/1.4307 screw-in fittings of Series 1600 are corrosion resistant and cleanable with no residue, and are ideal for minimum dead zone applications of all types. They are also ideal for hygienic applications in food and pharmaceutical environments, which have requirements for zero residue in the pipe system.
The small and compact connectors feature a very simple and reliable sealing principle, and they are non-corrosive, acid resistant, and feature full flow. The easy and residue free cleaning enables fast media changes. Series 1600 is also suitable for the connection of pipes.
For highly corrosive media, other stainless steel varieties are available on request, and the threaded fittings can be manufactured to customer specifications. Options include patented colour coding of the fittings and integrated valve technology with a check valve or throttle function.
